Rafael Pages Co-Founded Volograms with Kostas Amplianitis and Jan Ondřej, it is an in-house venture from Trinity College Dublin their mission is to bring reality capture closer to everyone.

He has a Postdoctoral Research Fellow from trinity college dublin and worked at V-SENSE under the supervision of Prof. Aljosa Smolic, where he ha spearheaded research in the areas of Free-Viewpoint Video, #3D reconstruction, Computer Vision, #virtualreality #augmentedreality Volograms uses a set of videos taken from different viewpoints and transforms them into volumetric holograms that can be enjoyed in Virtual and Augmented Reality.

Their system works with different camera configurations, outdoor or indoor scenarios, and can even generate content with videos captured with handheld consumer devices….. they are building the first software-only, hardware-agnostic scalable volumetric video creation platform.
