WXHC News Director Vinnie Bellardini caught up with Homer Football Coach Gary Podsiedlik ahead of the Trojans’ first playoff game tonight (October 25).

Homer (3-4) faces a one-seed Oneida team that finished their season undefeated (7-0) and ranked 12th in the entire state.

The entire Class B bracket (East & West) features five state ranked teams, including Oneida, Solvay (#6), New Hartford (#14), Marcellus (#15) and Central Valley Academy (#24).

Still, Coach P isn’t the only one with faith in the hard-nosed Trojans to pull off something special.

The game was listed the top matchup on CNY Central’s “Fun games we can’t wait to watch” list.
