Today on the show Jodi talks about the right (and wrong) time to write a book to serve your business. While there is no one right time for every author-entrepreneur, there are some factors that can point to yes (or no): A book offers a way to establish credibility and uplevel. A book offers a low price point for potential clients to get to know you, see your expertise, and decide if they might want to purchase a larger service/package. You have a plan for how a book fits into your business model, and it has little to do with book sales. Book money typically comes on the back end rather than through book royalties. Author-entrepreneurs should think of a book as a marketing tool rather than an income stream (at least the beginning). Your calendar (life and business) allow room for book writing. No business owner will find the time to write a book. You will instead need to make time.
