Braden Drake is a California licensed attorney and tax professional. His tagline is, “Your gay best friend here to help you get your legal and tax shit legit.” Braden works primarily with service-based, creative small business owners through his membership and course where he educates on contracts, business entities, cash flow, and taxes.

In this episode, Braden shares why he decided as a child that he wanted to write a book one day, the event that happened at an Airbnb we were staying in together that led to him finally writing that book, his and least favorite parts of the writing process, how he started the writing process with half of his book already written, the two main goals he hopes to accomplish with publishing his book, how his book helps business owners get their head out of the sand when it comes to the legal and tax aspects of their business, when he learned it was important to write like a real person and not a lawyer, how his love for Harry Potter dictates how he spends all his free time every October, and more.
