What better way to bring in the Christmas holiday other than talking about Witchcraft?

This episode I speak with Jarred who is a Wyrd-Worker (or witch). This was really fun as we get to learn a lot about what Wyrd means, some interesting things about magic, the occult, and magick. He tells us about growing up as a Christian in the Pentecostal of full gospel church and his move over to witchcraft. We talk about belief systems, being a good person, doing no harm, and accepting that your actions may have consequences. Practices, hexing, astrology, conservative Christian fearmongering, and the differences between types of witchcraft and the areas of origins of these systems. I learned the difference between orthopraxis and orthodoxy and that witches were never burned at the stake in the US. Also that there are atheist's in almost all religions. As must as this was a history lesson it was also a really good free flowing conversation with a new friend. I learned a lot and I hope you do too. Enjoy!
