Reality: the state of actuality; how things truly 'are' with no room for guesswork.
Expectation: the hope (or belief) that something which has not yet happened - will occur with no doubt attached.
'Death' is a reality that we all must face and deal with no matter how deep the pain but GOD has made us a promise through HIS SON (JESUS): we can trust in HIM to experience eternal safety and joy as well as be reunited with our 'saved' loved ones.
Death is not an end - it is an entry into eternity.
