'Closed' accounts summon the idea of accounts to which no further credits or debits can be added. Similarities exist in eternity as well because all have incurred 'earthly' debits/debt with GOD having the right to close (charge off) each of our eternal accounts (lives).
To 'charge off' - to close an account with the debt still owed.
The saddest reality?
Nobody's account (life) has to be 'charged off'. Each of our debts (to GOD) have been 'paid in full' yet, many will refuse GOD'S gracious & merciful offer to end up paying - with their eternal existence - suffering apart from HIM.
