The values and traditions of a poor Jewish family are put to the test as Tevye is asked to marry off his five young daughters in the midst of anti-Semitic pre-revolutionary Russia. Sounds like a hoot! Joe is joined by returning guests Elie Pomaville and Joe Medforth to discuss this titan of classic musicals that neither Joe had previously seen. The threesome get into random obsession with Jewish culture, constant Fiddler references, hopelessly mispronounced names, LAZAR WOLF, non-Jewish people making Jewish films, favorite songs, really quick character reversals, progressiveness, how to prevent plague, mistaken epiphanies, Elie’s long history with the film, and of course: TRADITIOOOOOOON!
