When hotshot lawyer Jeff Winger gets caught with a phony bachelor’s degree, he has to go back to school to earn a real one, so where better than the ultimate blow off college: Greendale. Jeff befriends a group of plucky outcasts as they learn about life, love, and ladders in Dan Harmon’s seminal sitcom Community. Joe is joined by Andrew Kroepel to discuss the show as a whole, but mostly focusing on the guilty pleasures they take in seasons 5 and 6. They get into the absence of Chevy Chase, favorite seasons and episodes, the Chang problem, the appeal of D&D, Betty White, argument theory, finding your bliss, revealing secrets, great stingers, homages and parodies, and VHS video games.
