WRP 142 - Round up, round up!

For the first pod this week, something slightly different! We take a look back at the opening round of the Women's 6 Nations, where there were victories for England, Wales & France; with respected rugby journalists. Lauren Jenkins, of BBC Wales, & Gary Heatly of GH Media, join to discuss all the twists & turns of the three games. The send off for Sarah Hunter, the sell out crowd, England's attack & power all are spoken about; as well as Scotland's bright periods of the game, how much they are missing key players & ever-rising star Emma Orr is talked about. Could Wales of had a better opening to a new world cup cycle, how much of a smile it put on "Welsh rugby's" face, the blend of the side & the clear benefit of professionalism with Welsh players on contracts; are all topics of discussion. Plus just how big a hole Ireland are in, especially without their 7s players. There are new coaches for France & Italy, Lauren & Gary chat about this & that it is a little early to see many signs, are France slipping a little, did Italy let that one get away and just what effect the conditions had on the game. And there are predictions for the three games in round 2 too!
