About Tamara Green:

Whether it is providing compassionate hands-on care for patients in her physical therapy facilities or bringing awareness through education from the stage at women’s conferences and events, Tamara Green is passionate about improving the quality of life of the whole woman.

“Martin Luther King, Jr. said, ‘If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward’. I believe this wholeheartedly, and I impart this truth to every woman I meet. No matter what limitations you face, you can start somewhere and you can improve along the way. That applies in physical therapy, and it applies in life,” says Green.

With a heart for women’s health and a dedication to education, Tamara Green speaks at women’s wellness events and conferences, and regularly hosts community health fairs with the expressed intent of bringing awareness to pelvic dysfunction. Carrying the banner for concerns below the skirt, her vision is to open the communication channels and have public conversations about a very private matter. “I’m reaching women right where they are – in the midst of shame and uncertainty – and educating and equipping them to manage their symptoms, and thrive in spite of them.”

Tamara Green has been serving as a physical therapist for over a decade, but she has spent the last few years building and managing multiple practices of her own in South Carolina. Her passion for physical therapy and people led her in her formative years on a medical mission trip to South Africa, where she provided physical therapy to orphans and HIV/AIDS prevention education to the general populace. And her heart for people still shows every single day in the work she does domestically. She has recently been recognized for her Outstanding Achievement in Business by the local Mu Alpha Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. She was also named an “Innovator under 35” for her personal achievements and service to the community by the Charleston Bethune-Leonard Section National Council of Negro Women Incorporated. A recipient of many other notable awards, and a proud member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Tamara Green is a respected and recognized servant leader in her community.

Currently she offers two courses Leaky Faucets: Tackling Urge Incontinence and Post-Baby Core & More. Leaky Faucets: Tackling Urge Incontinence, her signature online pelvic therapy five session course is near and dear to her because she too once suffered in silence with an out-of-control bladder.

She is focused on being a voice for women’s health and committed to making the lives of women better – one talk, one interview, one appointment at a time.
