On this episode Ida Henderson, MSW with Henderson Construction opened up and shared about the time her beloved and resilient mother was diagnosed with a multi-forming cancerous brain tumor that was similar to hurricane Katrina in terms of the damage it would cause. Not to mention it had a very minimal surviving rate. Unfortunately, after two surgeries, going to see the specialist at MD Anderson, and many prayers they found out there was nothing else that could be done. She also revealed how she learned to navigate through it all, including being in denial, going to therapy, isolating herself, leaving the church, not praying, wanting to take her own life, and much more. You do not want to miss this life-changing testimony.
