My experience

Taking initiative to provide solutions to bosses and not reactive . I know someone said if she is hired as that junior level, then she just do that level work. I believe in doing the next level work so you are seen as different from your peers and show your visibility of being promoted. People complain why not promoted , increment and bonus so low but not willing to put in extra work on themselves.

I heard an employee who will said resources are tight, not willing to take more projects but go back at 6pm, refused to do work at home but expect promotion and want good increment and bonus.

Family – look for resources to search for nanny and friend to fetch my son from childcare centre.

Takeaway
Respond with 7 second rule where you take a breather reflect before you respond. Fear, anxiety and worries all will cripple our emotions and allow our emotions to surface within seconds and might be too late to handle.

Stay calm when there are problem and your team /people who work with you will respect you for handling the situation in a calm and confident approach.
