In my 20s, I have been someone who was lost in direction and though I was working hard at work, my salary did not increase much and I was floating between jobs and not knowing how to negotiate fo rbetter pay with my experience and what I can offer. I worked as temp job and later convert to permanenet job in the same company.

In my early 30s, that’s where I took massive action by learning graduate diploman in T&D, attending external courses and investing more than 10,000 when I was only earning 2000 and I took 2 years to pay back the installment. In less than 10 years of growth mindset and progressing throughout my career, my income has accelerated to multiple folds. I took massive action and caught up later but it is never too late.

I took on a regional role And in my career lead a team of 9. I took on a bigger role, bigger team, and responsibilities and felt I just need to take massive action so I can accelerate my career growth.

After I left my last job to take a career break, I have attended few conferences and signed up Soul Rich Woman 2 days blueprint workshop and took up podcast leader and complete 55 episodes recording in 48 hours.

Takeaway

I felt that I did not really utilize my time in my 20s as I do not have mentors, coaches so I was behind many of my peers in terms of income and learning. If I have started in my 20s, I would have done more at an earlier age and can do more or feel accomplished more in my 30s and 40s
It is never too late and to be consistent in what we do as long we do. If we want to see results faster, we have to take massive action don’t wait and miss the boat. The growth will be at an accelerated speed but you know you do not waste your time and have contributed to your best ability in what you can do and offer to others.

We need close support who can be there for us, encourage us, and not naysayer to bring us down and affect our thoughts. If you have someone to do together will be even better.
