Landscape use: Excellent specimen and mass if used with care, useful for windbreaks, hedges and topiary work
History: Named ‘Cupressifolia’ in 1964 but that name was taken, renamed ‘Hillspire’; introduced by D. Hill Nursery Co., Dundee, IL
