American born 21 year old Emily Moffitt made her debut on the British team when she rode a double clear round in the FEI Nations Cup to win the prestigious Aga Khan Trophy at Dublin Horse Show last week alongside her trainer Ben Maher.  It was Britain's 27th victory on the hallowed turf of Ballsbridge and for Emily it will be the first major milestone in what will undoubtedly be an exciting future in the sport. Her rise to the senior ranks of international show jumping has been swift when she moved to Europe to train with Laura Kraut and Nick Skelton before switching stables to train with Ben Maher and establish a s team of international horses.  The Californian prefers the European scene which gives her the exposure to top class competition especially through the Global Champion Tour and being on the London Knights Team that she co-owns with Ben Maher.
