Krista Berry Ortega, MS (she/her) is an innovative social sector strategist and educator with over 19 years of diverse professional experience with nonprofit organizations from San Diego to New York City. Krista currently works as the Programs Manager-West at Candid. She delivers over 60 in-person and online training annually, including free, fee-based workshops and customized training in the western region and across the US.  She also contributes to the learning strategy, curriculum design, and program evaluation efforts and serves as a subject matter expert and thought leader on fundraising and individual giving for the region addition, she is loud laughter, active community board member, and a recovering fundraiser and roller derby chick... with a passion for making the world a better place.

Betina Meyer Pflug is an entrepreneur, a business and life coach, a marketing and CRM specialist with a passion for supporting nonprofit professionals. She has a degree in hotel management, received her MBA from Rotman School in Canada, and has completed three different coaching certifications, including a specialization in facilitating nonprofits, life coaching, and biopsychology to promote positive mental attitudes for mental and physical wellbeing.
