In today’s episode, Shelley and Phil kick off Idaho Wine Month with a bang, tasting through two wines from the Veer Wine Project. Veer Wine Project is a small, family-owned winery located in Boise, Idaho and was founded in 2017 by Will Wetmore, a young winemaker with a passion for making delicious, affordable wines.  The winery's name, Veer, is a Hindi word that means "to dare." The name reflects Will Wetmore's willingness to experiment and take risks in his winemaking.

Wild fermentation is a type of fermentation that uses naturally occurring bacteria and yeast to ferment food. This is in contrast to traditional fermentation, which uses commercial yeasts and cultures. Wild fermentation is often used to make fermented foods such as sauerkraut, kimchi, and kombucha.
