I Don't Like to Bank That Way, but $15 is $15: Bank Bribes Customers to Go Online + Year in Review & The Year Ahead in Bad Banking

Bank of America has a promotion the next couple of weeks where it will gift you $15 for using Zelle, Mobile Check Deposit and Online Bill Pay. Sounds good, right? 

Well, yes and no.

Bribing you with money in order to get you out of their line is one thing, but in this podcast, I will discuss how they are using it to inflate their online banking numbers to prove they are a "digital bank" in order to lessen more teller roles and close branches. Consider this a push to get old people online to slowly phase out service to them and others where it's needed.
