People lie, cheat, gossip, act wild, don't do what they said they would do, ghost us like they have lost their minds, and we still keep them in our lives! WHY THO?

Maybe it's because we fear the consequences, or repercussions of changing the boundaries in the relationship. We fear the loss of connection, or the rumor mill, or that a potential opportunity will be taken if we hold people accountable for their actions. We fear rejection and loneliness, and we also can be so afraid that people we love the most won't ever change, that we'll be stuck in the crazy cycle forever.

In this episode, we learn why we need to stop making excuses for people so that our relationships are loving and meaningful, instead of scary and manipulative. No relationship is perfect, but we don't have to stay in transactional, dysfunctional relationships - we can work through our character flaws with the right people, who are also working through theirs.
