As she committed herself to empowering women facing injustice in places like the Congo and Iran, the women in her life invited her to see the pain and abuse of women in her own backyard. Alongside Lisa Sharon Harper, Belinda founded the movement Silence is Not Spiritual to help women share their stories and to hold institutions and leaders accountable to change.

We believe women and we want to see a world where the imbalance of power ends so that all people are valued in the image of God.
