Previous Episode: 35. I Am A Rich Man
Next Episode: 37. Behind The Scenes

Howdy, brothers! We're back at it again this week with an overdue, important conversation. We didn't want to rush this episode as it's one that we're passionate about- and we found an incredible guest to help us navigate this topic. We welcome stand-up comedian, social activist, writer, and all-around dope ass human Ashley Ray to the W&W table for an honest and open discussion about racism and the BLM movement.

Ashley's shares her journey with us growing up in Chicago and entering the stand-up scene, her struggles as a Polysexual Black woman in the comedy world (and in every other world), her activism work, how one of her tweets landed in a NY subway station, how to navigate difficult and often sensitive conversations, and so much more.

We hope you all love this episode as much as we do! If you found it at all refreshing, eye-opening or educational, please post this to your story and tag us & Ashley. As always, the full video version is available on YouTube. Please share on your IG story and tag us @WhiskeyAndWaterPodcast. You can follow Ashley at @TheAshleyRay & on Twitter @TheAshleyRay, Liv @Oliviapw, and Jess @TheJessicaExperience. Make sure you’re subscribed on Apple Podcast, Spotify, or YouTube and to leave a rating and review!
