Ayurvedic medicine says that the body is held together by sound and that the presence of disease means that a body is not in harmony. Sound healing is the therapeutic application of sound vibration with the intention of creating a state of health and harmony.
Today the ladies discuss the singing bowl and the healing powers of sound.
A sound bath is designed to flood the bather in the harmonious sound of the singing bowl vibrations. A sound bath is like a water massage. Considering our bodies are 70% water and that vibrations travel faster though water, the vibrations created by at least 3 bowls or more massage the body creating resonance in all of the cells.
