A Guide To The Good Life - by William B Irvine

"The Ancient Art of Stoic Joy"

This book is a really good, simple, easy-to-understand summary of all of the not-so-easy-to-understand Stoic texts. It gives you a good break down of the philosophy of stoicism. Some of our favourite principles and techniques included negative visualisation, the trichotomy of control and self denial, and how you apply those to aspects of your life, such as your social relationships, insults, grief, and your personal values.

Well worth the read if you're looking for a new operating system or a new way to look at life.
