First up, The Honourable Jean Augustine joins me to share details from her appearance this week at The Canadian Congress on Inclusive Diversity and Workplace Equity and with information about the Jean Augustine Centre for Young Women’s Empowerment.

Rishma Govani is passionate about creating real positive change especially in areas of diversity, equity and inclusion. She joins me to share the inspiration for her children’s book Sushi &Samosas - a trip of tasty transformations that helps kids break down barriers by the spoon and learn more about the world around them.

Things in entertainment are looking up with The Gilded Age from Downton Abbey’s Julian Fellowes premiering on HBO. With Christine Baranski and Cynthia Nixon in lead roles, this series doesn’t pull any punches and is definitely not Downton Abbey light. Also up this week is Jodie Comer in Britbox’s Help, and Fraggle Rock which brings much needed joy to kids of all ages.

Lisa Baker is a transplanted Newfoundlander living in Alberta who brings her razor sharp sense of humour to Canadians on tour, and through TikTok. Lisa joins me to share some challenges she’s faced as a woman in a still largely male-dominated space, and with some advice for all of us when the going gets tough.

Pandemic stress has caused a surge in eating disorders particularly amongst adolescents and teens. Lianne Phillipson is a registered nutritionist, bestselling author, podcast and radio host of EAT THIS with Lianne, and also the mother of a teen who was diagnosed with an eating disorder this year. Lianne joins me with some advice for parents going through this with their children right now.

Finally, we are all feeling the pinch at the grocery checkout. That doesn’t mean we have to let go of healthy choices though. Denise Lalonde is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and joins me with some tips to eat healthy on a budget.
