I welcomed my first guest Amanda Jetté Knox onto the show three years ago to discuss their book Love Lives Here. Today they join me to discuss the alarming rise in transphobic hate and why 2022 was the first year they feared for their life doing their job as an advocate for the 2SLGBTQI+ community.

Lindsay Sealey, author of Made for More is back to discuss Gen Z women and girls and this week we take a look at the relentless pursuit of MORE. Of course we all know the answer to that so how then can we help our girls find the more that really matters, more love, more fulfillment, more peace.

Despite increased international attention the number of people falling victim to human trafficking around the world continues to grow and Canada is no exception. Alexandra Stevenson knows this all too well as a victim of sex trafficking. She joins me to share what we need to know to prevent this from happening to more young women and girls.

Finally, homelessness is on the rise across Canda due to a variety of factors but the bottom line is that too many people will be cold, unsheltered, and hungry this winter. Our response needs to be swift. Dr. Karen Shin from St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto joins me to discuss.
