My first guest is a mother, but also a black, Jewish woman leading a federal political party. As leader of the Green Party, Annamie Paul is not only passionate about the earth, but about social justice and women’s issues. She’s definitely one to watch as we move towards our next federal election.

Anne Brodie joins me with the sweetest mother’s day documentary ever called Duty Free. She also shares details on Oxygen, a shocking sci-fi thriller that is definitely not for anyone who suffers from claustrophobia. Finally she shares details on the hilarious self-help mockumentary called Reboot Camp loaded with movie and tv star cameos.

Kathie’s call to action to us is to unlearn what we think we know to be true, to stretch what’s possible, so that we can see our true potential and to live a beautiful life of our own design. And yes, you can even pursue this in a pandemic.

Crushing the patriarchy is on our minds and in our actions from marches and rallies, to literature and politics. GenZ in particular is claiming digital space to educate and empower women, and they are not letting the trolls deter them. Power To Her is an organization focused on empowering women within the community and I am joined by Founders Shuchi and Sachreet who share their mission.

Finally, Andriana Crawford is a Toronto-based yoga and meditation teacher, wellness entrepreneur, and writer. She created Black Yoga Society from her struggle to find Black-owned yoga studios, healing spaces, and esoteric products. Her goal is to promote well-being and self-care to BIPOC and beyond. She joins me to share her why, and with some tips stay calm in the chaos right now.
