If you spend time on Instagram or any social media platform, you’ve probably seen people posting lighthearted quotes about food, like this one: “Carbs are the answer. No matter the question.”


Many people share these quotes because, besides being funny, they’re so relatable.


Of course, you know that carbs don’t solve problems. Yet every time a problem comes up, it seems you’re reaching for a donut.


These quotes may be fun to share. But the reality behind them is not as fun. If you’ve ever experienced that reality, you’re in the right place.


In today’s session you’re going to discover why you always turn to food to fill your needs. And you’ll learn how to find real solutions that will get you closer than ever to becoming a natural eater.


Here’s what I mean:

You’re in between activities, and you think you need something to do, so you grab a snack.
You’ve had a long day, and you think you need and deserve a break, so you relax with a big serving of comfort food.
You need connection, so you invite a friend to dinner and spend a couple of hours eating and talking. Notice how easy it is to connect the pleasure of being with someone you like and eating food you like.

Unfortunately, you know that you pay a price for this type of reward.

And the price is you can develop a strong overeating habit and a strong desire to hold on to that habit.
So, you end up using food against yourself. This habit is holding you back from what you truly want, whatever that is.

So, what do you want? And how to give it to yourself?
