Do you think your weight loss is too slow?


You want to lose weight.

You want it to be easy.

Do you wish you could just wake up one day and the extra weight would be gone?


You may be tired of having to keep focusing on weight loss.

Remember our last coaching session, we talked about getting tired or bored with working on your weight goals, and wishing you could take a break?


We talked about how that might lead you to quit and how taking a self-care break is what you really need.


Today we’re going to talk about another reason why you might be tempted to give up on your weight loss journey.

And this might be that you think your progress is too slow.


You want your weight loss to be fast because…

You probably have expectations from the media and advertisements which tell us all kinds of unrealistic things like…. you can lose 10 lbs. in 10 days.
Or they might promote some kind of radical, extreme diet that you know you can only do for a few days, but you tell yourself that if you can just hold on and eat certain foods in some special combinations, that it will be worth it.
It’s ideas like these that create unrealistic expectations that weight loss should be happening fast.

You might think the more extreme the better. And the faster the better.

If this sound familiar, today’s coaching session is for you, my friend. Make peace with slow and it will be permanent. And permanent weight loss is what you really want.
