cireṇa dvārakāṁ gantum
udyato yadu-jīvanaḥ
kāku-stutibhir āvṛtya
sva-gṛhe rakṣyate ’nayā
TRANSLATION
Kṛṣṇa, the life of the Yadus, tried for a long time to leave for Dvārakā, but by enveloping Him with plaintive prayers she kept Him in her home.
