Instant Obedience⁣

The person who fears God says, “How close can I get to God? & How far away from sin can I get,” not “How much sin can I get away with?”⁣

Psalm 55:19—“Because they do not change, therefore, they do not fear God.”⁣

Proverbs 1:7—"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.” ⁣

Proverbs 27:7—“A satisfied soul loathes the honeycomb, but to a hungry soul, every bitter thing is sweet”. ⁣

The fear of the Lord is to obey God, even when you don’t see the benefit of it. ⁣

Complaining is saying, “God, I don’t like what You’re doing, & if I were You, I would do it differently.”⁣

Hebrews 11:24-26⁣

Some religious people think suffering pleases God, but it’s obedience that pleases Him.⁣

The cross doesn’t speak of suffering; it speaks obedience.⁣

Genesis 22:1-18⁣

Exodus 33:1-3 ⁣

God’s presence was more important to Moses than His promises. But to Israel, God’s promises were more important than His presence. ⁣

Practice instant obedience. Will you obey even if you don’t see the benefit of it?
