Faith is confidence in who God is
Hebrews 11:1—"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for…”
Habakkuk 2:4—“But the just (righteous) shall live by his faith.”
Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace you have been are saved through faith…”
Mark 11:22, “Have faith in God.” Because Jesus is who He says He is, don’t you think we should pay attention to what He has to say about this?
Mark 5:36, “Jesus overheard their conversation & said, ‘Don’t be afraid; just believe.’”
Ephesians 3:12—“…we have boldness & access w/ confidence through faith in Him.”
Hebrews 10:22—"Let us draw near w/ a true heart in full assurance of faith…”
2Corinthians 5:7, “For we walk by faith & not by sight.”
Galatians 2:16, We are “justified by faith in Jesus, not by works of the Law.”
Galatians 2:20, “I have been crucified w/ Christ…the life I live, I live by faith in the Son of God…”
Galatians 3:26, “You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.”
1Peter 1:7—"…& your faith is far more precious to God than mere gold. So if your faith remains strong after being tried by fiery trials, it will bring you much praise & glory & honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.”
1Peter 1:9—"…receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls.”
