Daniel from Austere Medical Relief sat down and talked with me about how he is helping in Ukraine by volunteering to provide medical assistance to the wounded. Daniel is a Marine Corps veteran and the co-founder of Austere Medical Relief Group, a nonprofit organization. The mission of AMRG  is to support medical installations and their personnel in conflict and combat zones by delivering both equipment and medical supplies as well as providing critical and combat care education. Their mission is accomplished by teams of vetted combat medic veterans and civilian tactical medical practitioners who have experience working in austere environments. Gregg Phillips, Co-Founder of The Freedom Hospital met Daniel while on an exploratory mission to Ukraine to gather more information on the medical needs they are facing.

Here’s a breakdown of what to expect in this episode:

Daniel’s background and the decision to join the military
How he got involved with helping in Ukraine

And so much more!
