Beyond the Uniform: Candace Cieslo's Global Impact

In today's episode of "Wake Up with Patti Katter," we're sitting down with a good buddy of mine, Candace Cieslo. Our friendship traces back to a chance meeting in Guatemala in 2008, and since then, we've both seen and experienced so much. Candace, a true patriot, took up the call to serve in the U.S. Army, standing tall in some of the most demanding units out there. She's seen the heat of battle, but her journey didn't stop when she hung up her boots. After witnessing the heartbreaking events in Afghanistan, she rolled up her sleeves to help out Afghans in desperate need over in the UAE. It's raw, it's real, and it's a conversation between two friends about service, sacrifice, and what it truly means to step up when the going gets tough. Join us as we dive deep into her story, the good, the challenging, and the downright inspiring.

Candace continues to serve communities both on the local and international levels through mission trips and service projects. Most recently, Candace was The Black Feather Foundation’s Site Manager for the Emirates Humanitarian City in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. – serving approximately 18,000 Afghans.
