The Beauty of a Merry heart and Light countenance “Positive Change”
We do not have to appear or look like the issues or challenges we are faced with. It does not have to be obvious to all that we are oppressed or opposed, especially by our countenance or facial expression. It is okay to acknowledge our condition, but we must not react or act negatively as a result of the issues overwhelming us. Simply put, we must not wear our problems on our faces, but be clothed with power of God. It is a supernatural force or power. It is not by our own power nor by might, but by the help of the Holy Spirit as we receive divine strength and grace.
When we put on the joy of the Lord, our countenance is light and our faces will look radiant, attracting the mercy and favour of God and men.
“And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad. And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her.” ‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭1:18-19‬ ‭KJV.
‬‬ “The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.” Numbers‬ ‭6:25-26‬ ‭KJV‬‬
“His glory is great in thy salvation: Honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him. For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: Thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.” Psalm‬ ‭21:5-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬.
