The end of any journey is more important than the beginning. At the beginning of any journey, there is usually adequate preparation made to ensure a smooth ride and safe landing. All human efforts are only guaranteed by the divine help of God Almighty, the possessor of the power and giver of exceeding grace and strength. No matter how physically equipped we are for the journey, it is wise to commit our ways to God, leaning on “The Holy Spirit” for divine guidance. When on board the aircraft, we are usually advised to put on our seat belt for take off and landing. There are also warning signs such as “No smoking” and other signs of caution. It is also important to be cautious spiritually to ensure safe landing and for God to be glorified.
Lean on the Holy Spirit more and be sensitive to the still voice. Hearken to divine instructions and be obedient just as you do when on board the flight. When you follow the leading of God, you will be safe from known and unknown programmed calamities. Even though the Journey may not have been smooth or easy, the latter glory is greater than the former, and you are guaranteed safe landing through Jesus Christ, our redeemer and savior.
Prayer: Father please grant us the strength and Grace to finish the remaining part of the journey well and ensure our safe and peaceful landing in the coming new year Jesus’ name, Amen.
