Prioritizing your own wellbeing while caregiving for someone else can feel nearly impossible. Whether you’re stepping in to care for an aging parent or any other loved one who needs support, it’s crucial to give yourself permission to honor your needs as well.

I’m joined by Dawn Renee, the co-founder of Traveling Caregivers, a support resource for caregivers and families. In our conversation, Dawn describes how her health journey inspired her to become a caregiver and eventually help others in a similar position.

Dawn shares her advice for caregivers, including tips for how to seek and accept help, which can often feel challenging. We discuss why it’s so important to let go of the ego and have faith in collective healing. Dawn also talks about the power of sound and music, which she knows intimately as a singer-songwriter.

Listen in to hear Dawn’s inspiring story and hopeful message for anyone who identifies as a caregiver.

If you are enjoying these conversations, please subscribe and spread the love by leaving a review and sharing it with your friends.
