First broadcast on FAB RADIO INTERNATIONAL at 19:00 on July 31st 2022

Our returning co-presenter this week is once again the ever popular WARREN CUMMINGS, joining me for another meander around the highways and byways of whatever and wherever our conversations prompted by the topic of television may take us, whether it’s up to the minute stories from the news, or fond memories of television shows made before either of us were various twinkles in a meaningful look or three.

This week our journey starts with fond memories of the work of two actors who in recent months have both passed on from this world, DENNIS WATERMAN and PETER BOWLES, and our conversation takes a slightly dark turn as we consider the effect that high profile celebrity deaths have upon those of us who appreciate and remember their work despite most of us often never having ever actually met them.

Then, via a brief look at TURTLE’S PROGRESS, we take some time to consider the filming locations used for television programmes we have enjoyed through the years, which takes us, perhaps not too surprisingly, to a layby in Gerrard’s Cross.

PLEASE NOTE - For Copyright reasons, musical content sometimes has to be removed for the podcast edition. All the spoken word content remains (mostly) as it was in the broadcast version. Hopefully this won't spoil your enjoyment of the show.
