Shannon “Momma” Rhodes - Shame Silences But Community Empowers (S3:Ep75)

Our "formative years" are suppose to be as young children, but for Shannon hers were in college. It was when she was studying psychology and sociology that she had the rude awakening of her parents severe mental health issues. They wanted to keep it quiet, but Shannon reached out to get them help anyway. However, Shannon didn't realize she was experiencing undiagnosed trauma herself. It was many years later and through a challenge from her daughter that her eyes were opened. Not only to her own trauma, but also to the prevalence of undiagnosed and untreated trauma in society. She's become a "momma" to many in their personal growth journey.

Bio: When there's a hunger inside you but you're unsure how to fulfill that desire it can leave you feeling hopeless. Momma Rhodes understands what it feels like to know there's more in store for yourself but not know how to get there. She believes it's our right to pursue our dreams and become who we are meant to be which is why for years she's been guiding women and helping them confidently step into their purpose. As a personal development consultant Momma Rhodes teaches people how to rewire limiting beliefs and empowers them to pursue their purpose confidently.
