From an early age Doug was raised in an environment of being belittled and verbally abused leaving him feeling utterly worthless. This lack of value and confidence drove him to addiction, and other destructive behaviors, that hurt himself and others, eventually landing him in jail. He tried getting free over and over but only one thing held the key to his freedom. Now Doug helps other men unlock the door to their freedom.

Bio: Doug Sweeney is dedicated to leading men out of substance addiction and reclaiming their lives. As a young teenager he consumed alcohol that was easily and always in his home life. Instantly it was the means by which he coped from the pain that all of the alcohol had caused growing up. Addiction for Doug was a very radical torment going further into new depths of another bottom. Coming to a broken heart and finally seeing himself as forgivable, he became strong enough to also forgive in order to be really free, and abide the transforming power of Jesus Christ.
