Is the prognosis good? In this study, 85.1% of dogs survived. Coagulopathy, gallbladder wall edema, and abdominal effusions are a relatively common occurrence in canine anaphylaxis. Serum phosphorus levels greater than 12 mg/dL, refractory hypoglycemia, and PT prolongation greater than 50% are correlated with a decreased chance of survival.
