The Adder (Vipera berus) is a member of the viper family of snakes and one of three types of snakes found in the UK and the only venomous snake in the UK. But don't let this frighten you, there has not been a recorded death from an Adder bite in decades, but that is not to say that you shouldn't be cautious in the event of an encounter. In today's podcast I aim to raise awareness on Adders and seek to give some advice in the event that you may encounter an Adder.
