We’re excited to bring you today’s episode with Glenn Robbins, proud superintendent of Brigantine School District in Brigantine, New Jersey. Glenn shares his approach to leadership with Misty and Jamie - an approach that’s rooted in positivity and empowerment. We packed a lot into this short episode, and we can’t wait to have Glenn back on later this school year.

A quick housekeeping note: we experienced some technical difficulties with the audio late in this episode.

About Glenn
Glenn Robbins is the proud Superintendent of the Brigantine Public School District in Brigantine, New Jersey. His passion is harnessing a school culture that thrives on design thinking, futurism, innovative digital spaces, technology integration, Social Emotional Learning Zen Dens, and Maker cultures. In addition, Glenn encourages all students to have a voice, not only in building a school culture, but also in designing student led entrepreneur opportunities.

Glenn is a New Jersey representative for the AASA Aspiring Superintendent Mentor Program, CoSN Empowered Superintendent Panel, NASSP National Digital Principal of the Year, the co-chair for the NJASA Technology Committee in New Jersey, and has received numerous state and national leadership distinctions during my career. Glenn also led a former school to become the first school in New Jersey history to receive the SETDA Student Voices Award, which honors an outstanding K-12 school or district that has leveraged technology to dramatically improve the educational experiences and achievement of their students.

Glenn has been recognized by numerous organizations for his innovative technology implementation methods, and has been a featured speaker at numerous events across the globe. His extensive travels to various schools across the globe have helped to diversify his views on education and implement new instructional methods to better both students and staff. By empowering students and staff to have a growth mindset through design thinking, while implementing digital tools, we can better prepare them to be agile, flexible and adaptive, towards the profound shifts that they will encounter in life.
