Sound & Vision with Mr. Hudson | Ben Hudson

Welcome to our first season " Sound & Vision" in which I invite photographers, directors and musicians that have become close friends over the years, to let us in behind the sound and images they create. 
In this second session I talk to British Grammy Award winning musician and producer known under his stage name Mr. Hudson.
Ben has collaborated with the likes of Kanye West, John Legend, Janelle Monae, Miley Cyrus to name a few...He has also performed on stage during the Celebrating David Bowie tour alongside Mike Garson and additional notable guests.

Mr. Hudson released his solo record in 2019 - When The Machine Stops - his sci-fi project: a full-length album, also featuring  Vic Mensa on their new collaboration  "Chicago".

We discuss the emotional paradox behind creating melancholic music in happy times, and the need to produce more hopeful work in dreary moments.
Having both been unable to set foot in LA for the last year, we both fondly recall what the city means to us. Ben describes what makes him tick beyond the the industry encounters and healthy lifestyle...
