This week, Matt and Alexis are joined in the studio by Tyra Anderson. Tyra is a loan officer at Stockton Mortgage in Louisville and a board member of The Woody Williams Foundation. The Woody Williams Foundation's mission is to support Gold Star Families (Military families that have lost a family member in combat) through scholarships, outreach, and the implementation of community memorial monuments dedicated to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. As a Gold Star Family member herself, Tyra shares how she got involved with the foundation, her personal story of dealing with the tragic circumstances of losing her father war, and how we can all continue honor & support veterans and their families.
