Welcome to Season 5 - A "Dogology" (kinda like a mixology) of tips, Q and A's, interviews, discussions and a deeper look into the 3 components of UPWARD Dogology all with the goal of increasing awareness of how to work with dogs over 6 months of age so we can more easily and comfortable include our dogs into our lives.
In episode 2, Billie talks about one of the most important approaches of UPWARD Dogology - "Never rush to your end goal". She uses the example of working with an aggressive dog to show how trainers commonly focus on the dog liking them or using treats to increase comfort, which can cause increased frustration for both the dog and their human.
