This week we’re joined by Amy Peterson, an author, seminary student, quilter, master playlist maker, and seasoned podcast guest. Amy released a book in January 2020 titled “Where Goodness Still Grows: Reclaiming Virtue in an Age of Hypocrisy,” a book that was originally sold with the title “Virtues for the Apocalypse.” So, it ended up being an extra-appropriate book for 2020. As Amy puts it, unfortunately, “its relevance seems to continue.”

So, we dive deep into how the 2016 election inspired this book idea, why she hoped that it would be less relevant after the 2020 election concluded, why her chapter on Lament sparked controversy, why “Hamilton” is actually just “Get Out,” stupid Twitter takes, Isaac’s OnlyFans page, and doing what Carrie’s mom tells us to do.
