Mental health awareness is so important! It is one of those topics that we don’t always want to talk about out of fear of sounding weak, seeming like we lack faith, or not wanting to share the things we struggle with. 

ABOUT THE GUEST:
Chrissy is a Higher Education professional with 4 years of experience in Student Affairs. She currently works in Career Services full-time by day, but has also worked in a federally funded grant program (GEAR UP) & Diversity & Inclusion. 

By evening/weekend she is the host of the Bliss with Chriss podcast, which focuses on college, careers, and social justice issues. She has been podcasting for 9 months now and enjoys being able to use her platform to empower others in sharing their stories and educating listeners.

Chrissy is currently taking classes for a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and hopes to eventually become a licensed professional counselor and continuing to work with college students and maybe own her own practice. In her spare time, Chrissy likes to try new food/restaurants, scroll through tiktok and watch documentaries on Netlfix/Hulu.
