Personal Care and Dementia

In this episode, Lauren discusses personal care as it pertains to caring for those with dementia. Focusing largely on bathing approaches and concerns, Lauren also addresses other matters of personal care and talks about how those can be different or have different concerns for someone with dementia, including shaving, toileting, nail care, and dental care. Lauren is joined by Vatche Khedesian, Senior Care Manager with Family Connect Care, and Marilyn Lyon, Family Connect Care's Director of Community Outreach, as well as Tom, who produces the podcast.
