025: Serving Your Time

On the last episode, we chatted about being ready and preparing for the next level. This came about as I was witnessed those around me take time to prepare for Hurricane Florence. Great news – we survived the hurricane and I’m back in your ear with another episode! Today, we’re serving time, and no not jail time. Serving time as it relates to the due diligence of life experience. There are several ways to up-level your life such as taking courses, completing certifications, masterminding, getting a mentor or coach and so on however one thing remains constant. We cannot rush time. I am one to wholeheartedly believe that age and maturity are not one in the same, likewise with wisdom. Life experiences and trajectories play a huge role with both. On the same notion, there is an old saying ‘you live, and you learn’. Some lessons can only be taught through life experiences. Hypothetically speaking, if you start a business today, until 365 days later, you haven’t been in business a year.
